The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management program was developed by Emeritus in collaboration with MIT Sloan and Columbia Business School Executive Education to provide this blend of knowledge and skills through the combination of three highly successful business courses—Digital Strategies for Business, Financial Acumen, and Leading Organizations and Change.

David Rogers advises global companies such as Google, GE, Toyota, Visa, China Eastern Airlines, Kohler, and Macmillan on digital strategy. He has led strategic workshops for executives at hundreds of companies in 64 countries and is the founder of the BRITE (brands, innovation, and technology) conference.
John Van Maanen is the Erwin H. Schell Professor of Management and a Professor of Organization Studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Van Maanen is an ethnographer of organizations ranging from police organizations to educational institutions, as well as a variety of business firms. He has also worked with numerous public and private organizations in North America, Europe, and Asia, including BP, IBM, BMW, Siemens, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, Lafarge, Mars, Warburg Dillon Read, Sabanci University, and the National University of Technology (Singapore). He has served as the faculty chair of the MIT Sloan Fellows Program at MIT and as the head of the Organization Studies Group within the Sloan School. He has been a Visiting Professor at Yale University, University of Surrey in the UK, INSEAD in France, and is an Honorary Fellow at Cambridge University.
Daniel Wolfenzon is the Stefan H. Robock Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School. He received a Masters and a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and holds a BS in Economics and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Professor Wolfenzon previously taught at the University of Michigan, the University of Chicago and NYU. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research interests are in Corporate Finance and Organizational Economics. He has studied control sharing in small firms, the effects of investor protection on ownership concentration, and the structure of business groups around the world. His most recent research focuses on family firms. He has examined the consequences of family succession on firm performance and also the importance of managerial talent in family controlled firms. His work has been published in top economic and finance journals such as the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Financial Economics.
